I NEED A HUG NOW!

#1

Post by vampyrewolf »

Well, someone's gonna be happy with me.

I had my ladybug loose in my pocket. Little do I know that I had a hole in it(yes, I know about the opening hole, I was refering to the pocket). Well, I walked into the school to get my report card, then afterwards in my car, I went my my ladybug.

It was gone. (Organ music in here)

Well, spydie #4 was never ment to be. Guess I have to go buy a bigger one now to make up for it. Looking at the Dragonfly, plain/FRN now. Only gonna cost me 2x what the ladybug did.

*VampyreWolf sitting in a corner, crying about his lost love*

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

Bad luck dude.

It should be easy to spot who finds it. Just look for the person with a large plaster on their thumb. If they don't know what Spyderco knives are famous for, they're about to find out the hard way

You know, I got to thinking...

Would the dragonfly be #4 or #5?

I can commiserate with you. That is really too bad. If they're not too valuable, I'd cut the offending trousers to shreds with my other Spydies. If they're top drawer duds, then spit on them before their next cleaning.

I am sorry, but I am too emotionally remote to dispense hugs.

VampyreWolf,

I have a brand new (red) Ladybug on my keychain that was given to me by Joyce at the Blade show (thanks again Joyce). It hasn't even been used to cut anything yet. (too many other spydies to choose from).

It's yours if you want it. Just send me your address. Gotta take care of my fellow Canadians.

nah, keep your ladybug... I'm just gonna have to buy myself that dragonfly sooner now...
I had planned to buy it in the late fall anyways, but now I'll buy it end of summer.

I went to a small boarding/day school for highschool. One particularly long day I fell asleep in the dorm lobby on the couch, only to awake and find my pocket had been picked of my oh so lovely Endura. I checked that couch inside and out, turning over the whole lobby. Some little Bast!d stole it right from me. Live and learn, I now sleep with my knife deeper in my pockets.

I feel your pain friend.

No Prob,

Just another reason to get a new Spydie, I suppose.

SKS,

What a huge gesture. You are representative of the best of the spirit this forum embodies. Good on you.

VampyreWolf,

Buy two new ones. One similar sized to replace the Ladybug and one to compensate yourself for your misfortune.

Like they say on NYPD Blue..."Sorry for your loss."

And of course, the new one(s) will have to be #5 (and #6?). You have owned and enjoyed the Ladybug. It's number must remain in place in the order, out of respect and to keep it's memory alive.

Cheers, Jeff/1911.

That's the problem. I didn't get to use and enjoy #4. It was simply put in my pocket and I hadn't had a chance to use it.

Oh. That is bad. Well then you'd better get another Ladybug and also a new larger model for the compensation thing.

Jeff.
