Got to be the Aluminum Cricket. I've got both plain and serrated edge. Even though I have several other great Spydercos of various sizes and styles; the Cricket is the one I can't put down.

My favorite spydie has now changed after handling the Chinook more...
I love this guy...
It fits my hand perfectly, and has my ideal length of blade... 3.5-4", it's 3.75...
As soon as I have $250 sitting around, by about fall, I'm getting myself one. This is to be my next spydie...
We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

For me, it has to be my Cricket ;
lightweight, compact, and nasty with the
serrations. Plus, a VERY good tool for
opening cardboard boxes, cord ( plastic,
rope ) twine, or even thread. In a self
defense situation, I wouldn't want to
be the receipiant of it's nasty little
bite ! ( thank God ) it hasn't come down
to that ! I own three other Spydies thus far ( the collecting continues ) but
the Cricket is my ALL TIME favorite.

Earlier in this thread, I said that the Dragonfly was my favorite- and it still is. But, I'm going to have to announce a tie here. I just got a Cricket a few weeks ago, and have been carrying it since to get used to it and give it a test run. I have to say, I like them equally. Both small, compact, unobtrusive and all around workhorses. I agree with Allen's comments above- a great little knife indeed. Definitely the most unique I've come across- and I can't for the life of me figure out why I evaded it so long... <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

PS: But, I DO still like the grip on the Dragonfly better- it just fits so well in the hand!

This is bizarre. I posted once. Saw that it was repeated on the next page, edited the post on the second page only, just now discovered that the edit hit this one as well. Very frustrating.
If I can remember correctly, said something to the effect that this thread has hung around long enough for me to now find it a struggle to name my favorite. I still like the Goddard, but truthfully, my used Native replaced the Goddard immediately in my pocket. Just now got the Wegner loosened up to the point I feel I could comfortably carry it -- lots of TufGlide and many, many cycles.
I guess right now, would have to say the Native, for it's versatility. Course, haven't carried my Calypsyo Jr yet either?? I can't beleive how good so many of the Spydercos are!
Just remember, NO WOBBLE!

My favorite is also my first and only, a plain-edge FRN Dragonfly.
That's also the knife my wife wants when she asks to borrow one of mine. That's high praise, indeed.
I ordered a plain-edge FRN Cricket today, so there may be some friendly competition shortly. I gotta face facts, however; I'll probably wind up carrying both!

Easy, no contest. Endura, 50-50, in ATS-55. Strong as a steel cable, tough as an ex-Marine, darn near unbeatable.
Of all the Spydies, not just what I own, I would have to say the Chinook. Nice and strong, big, with great steel.
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
