Hi Wouter - Good IWA Show report. Thanks for the mention. The days are long but the work with all the dealers, end line users and our distributors is just so nice to do.
Being part of the crew for those show days is just awesome. It was very nice to meet you and Marije there and it all became much like family when Ted and Chris H. joined in.
The spyder crew consisted of Sal, Kelly, Olive, Joyce, Ed, Jack and myself. A smaller team consisting of Olive, Jack and myself again will be present at the Eurosatory Show in Paris June 12 - 16.
It's an International Infantry fare with over 120 military delegations from over 72 countries visiting. It will be crowded! So, all you military types.... come over and visit the Spyderco booth! :)

[quote="Ted"]Nice report and picturer Wouter! - Funny how Joyce always manages not to show up on pictures ]
She's sort of like the Lone Ranger in that way.... :D Plus, she -as the rest of the team- had a very full and tight schedule with lots of appointments, I even think she gave up her break just to say hi to us.
The plexiglas spyders are not for sale, Jurphaas had some (a few slightly damaged) lying on his shelf and he was kind enough to give them to me. The round egg-like objects are gem-like stones, just for decoration.
I also visited the Boker Booth to check out Chad's design. It was certainly funny to see the puzzled representative looking at me fiddling with his newest 'hasn't hit the market yet' SUBCOM, as if I carried and played with the thing for a couple of months. Oh wait, I did. :D

A knife, or outdoor type show, is just the natural environment for us knifeknuts. The atmosphere, the people, the products, all there to entice us! :D
