What's in your 3" rotation?
3 inch has it's place
Now I have just recently set up a regimen of 3 inch or less Spyder folders to take to work with me. Now first and foremost I usually make it a point to have my 3 favorite Hawkbills in that size range i.e. Harpy, Merlin & Tasman. Depending on what type of work I have lined up for the day depends on which I stick in my pocket.
Now since the birth of the Burgundy Calypso Jr. with ZDP-189 it simply goes everywhere with me all of the time. I had to cut up a bunch of rags and other cloth items today and the Burgundy Caly worked like a dream. I am also finding myself taking the Yojimbo with me more and more.
You know with all that being said I challenge any of you to name me one other company who makes such a fine selection of small bladed knives as does the GREAT SPYDER FACTORY>> and for that we can all be thankful and proud. GOD Bless you all

ZDP Caly Jr. and SE Tasman Salt. In this size range, I am really looking forward to the ZDP Delica 4, Caly 3, ZDP Jess Horn and S125V Native.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

My wife hasn' gotten used to the re-emerging knife knut in me yet (referring to me jokingly as a 'knife knerd') so I'm struggling to keep things minimized... for now (insert evil laugh here).
Ironicly I do a lot of shipping and work in a shop so I've always had a use and just lately got into simply always having a folder in pocket. It would have made much more sense to have done this years ago.
Anyways, my 3" rotation is currently just the Yojimbo. But as soon as the new Caly3 comes out, I'll be adding that one.
