#1

Post by TheKnifeCollector »

I came home from work yesterday, and had an amazing surprise waiting for me. It was a box, and in the box, I found a 2005 Forum Adventura!!OMG, I LOVE this knife!! Pix do not do it justice. It HAS to be handled!! Alex, your knife is incredible!! The person wishes to be anonnymous, and I will honor this persons request!! THANK YOU and God bless!! Today, the big brown truck brought me another stunning and amazing gift. It was sent by our very own TazKristi: a very, very special Spin. It has believe engraved on the handle, and on the blade, it has TKC!!! I LOVE my Spin!! What a fantastic knife!!! And TazKristi also included and incredible note, that it also a very special gift!!I know pix! Here is a link to my Flickr page with these 2 amazing knives. (Both of which are in my pockets. The Spin will ALWAYS be with me!!) http://www.flickr.com/photos/spvwolfy/?saved=1
The family that we have here is so extra special!! I feel very blessed and grateful to be a part of this amazing family!!!

THANK YOU does not seem adequate!! But THANK YOU to you both!!

It sure is nice to hear these kinds of stories, especially when they show how cool and unique this Forum and it's members are. How nice for you, TKC!! (The Spin sure is a cool 'lil knife, isn't it? )

Thanks to the anonymous donor and TK for making such kind gestures toward others! :) It never fails to amaze me how cool  Spyderco fans are!

TKC, that is just so incredibly cool. I was just thinking last night that I had not seen you post for a few days. You were having some tests done weren't you? How have they gone.
I am constantly reminded of how great this forum is. Such great people here. What Kristi did is just so typical of the amazing and thoughtful person she is!
Also whoever sent you the 2005 Forum Adventura is very cool also. Enjoy your gifts. That Spin would be a keepsake for me.
This thread is pretty touching to me right now.

Ront: I started orientation for my new job. I work 3 10 hour shifts, and I work in Boston. The hospital has a place that I can stay at while I am working up there. I leave the night before, so I don't have to get up at 3am, and leave for work by 4:30am. So, whilst I am working I am away from my computer. So, 3 1/2 days a week, I will be away. Next week, and the week after, I am working Tues, Wed, Thurs. I will leave for work Monday night. And come back Thurs. night. So, when you don't see me, it just means I am off to work. I had an MRI 2 Sundays ago. I get the results tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of me.

Hi lady, congrats on your fine knives. Thank you for your kind words regarding the Adventura. I am delighted when someone finds it useful :D (like a backup scalpel in the hospital maybe?)
Congrats to Kristi and the anonymous forumite for their awsome gesture. You guys rock.

Aloha TKC!

Wow...great gesture by the "anonymous one" and from our very own Tazkristi. Awesome, but I say you deserved such "material reminders" that we care about you. AND it all happens because of the "word" Taz had engraved on the Spin! ;)

Awesome...simply Awesome!

God bless you, Taz, and the anonymous one...

You know, the I dunno if the Adventrura would stand up to being sterilized, which would be by steam. I don't want to make my Adventura unhappy!! it is an amazing knife! And talk about a pocket scalpel; the Spin is something!! They have been clipped to my pockets sice they have arrived. And NOW, I am now sleeping with 2 knives, instead of one!! And I DO know that you guys care about me!!! God bless you all!! I wish I could give each and every one of you a HUG!!
