Am I an A-Hole?

Post by DAYWALKER »

Aloha ALL,

This was brought to my attention by a forum member who I will keep anonymous. I got kinda pissed when I saw it, but then I couldn't stop laughing afterwards! After all, I have been called much worse, and if this engraving was directed towards me, it's kinda flattering that someone would actually pay money to do that! :D Great knife also!

What do you guys think? Just a name coinkidink or?

Anyway, mahalo to the forum member who brought this to my attention... :D

God bless and take care all :)

I think we all are and have to be at times.

Let's not start a bidding war over this knife but we should buy this one for our Chad! ;) :D

Personally, I like the fact that this person doesn't show the picture of the item, let alone the proper Corporate Logo- He scarfed the Spyder Ski gear company logo and used it in his auction, instead of the Spyderco logo. :D Being a skier, I noticed that right away.

BTW, you are not an A-hole, you're our newest Spyderco Collaborator/ Forum Knife Designer, the creator of the soon-to-be-released LAVA!! (Applause) :p

LOL... :D

Well if you're an A-Hole, at least people still like you enough to engrave knives in your name ;) :p

That's an intersting auction without a doubt. Though I doubt it's about you, you're not the type to piss anyone off, except for residents of **** ;)

Still, it's gotta be some kind of joke, because they went through a lot of trouble to get it engraved. Heck I have close friends that call me on the phone and say "hey A-hole, what's up?" among other less than savory titles.

Perhaps it's a term of endearment :p

I never really thought of you in that light. :D

All it needs is a :spyder: cut out of grip tape on it, and it would be perfect for you.

Fantastic, i think it really funny that someone has gone thru the dificulties of getting a cricket engraved with that sentence! LOL

even if it's about you (which i doubt) it should be seen upon as a badge of honour instead of an insult.

That's really funny! Of all the Chads in the world, two of them happen to be linked by Spyderco. I wonder what the odds of that are?

Aloha Dannyvi,

LOL, no...I know i am not the only Chad in the world. The only Chad in the world was "The Chad" in Charlie's Angels! :p

Thanks everyone for your posts...they were great! However...

I am trying to think of all the inmates I either had to use physical force on or something that'd make them do something like that. The knife is engraved, but it doesn't specify what kind of engraving...could just be scratched on! Now let's see... :p

God bless and take care ;)
