Waved D4/E4?

#1

Post by Cameron23 »

Does anyone know (if they can say) whether or not the waved E4 (and D4?) are going to be screw in pins (a la the Pikal) or more like the E3 waved models?

Just wondering...
Pondering...
Ruminating... :o
Obsessing...

Thanks Much,

Cameron :spyder:

But, they have the D/E4 handles (4 position clip), so i would have to believe they are all screw.....

It's the E4/D4 handle - I didn't take a shot of the backside, but I'm 99.9999% sure it's screws.

I asked this question to Sal. Basically they are the same knives as the D4/E4 . The only difference is the "bottlecap" opener on the blade.

I believe they will keep the screw in for the Pikal

Jim, when you say "bottlecap opener", are you joking, or can the wave actually be used to open bottles as well? Has anyone ever tried this with a waved knife?
Ask me where I got my awesome SUPERHAWK!

Thanks for posting.

And thanks for the pic (point... click... save....) :D

I've been waiting on getting a VG-10 Delica and Endura until the Waved models come out, otherwise I'll be putting zip ties on them. Which I'll probably be doing once the ZDP D4 comes out anyway. ;)

Again, Thanks Much,
