I notice one thing about the Starling. It seems like a very nice key chain knife at MSRP $15. This price is hard to beat.
But I wonder one thing, this Byrd knife will be produced by Spyderco. But Spyderco will put it under Byrd line. So I am curious about the production.
Would this knife produce in Japan or China? And what kind of steel will be used in this knife?

Can't agree more! The comp. lock is perfect for the Captain! Also, does anyone else think that the Captain should be available with a CE blade, having the serrations extend to that little secondary tip?Vincent wrote:captain needs a compression lock.
