[quote="buferoe"]hi Chad,

that's a lovely little knive. ]

Aloha buferoe,

Thnaks, and yes, it will be at the A'Dam show. Be advised, try not to "force yourself" on the Lava...merely open it and close it a few times, and it will find "your hand". Amazing lil' one this is...but then again, it is a :spyder: !

God bless

Aloha jon shannow,

LOL, thanks my friend...however, as far as the Lava replacing your Salsa or Dragonlfly...I dunno, those are some "lil' big shoes to fill!" :p

The Deacon wrote:Great photos Chad, and an excellent choice of backgroud. Especially like the nice fine traction grooves on the choil and spine.
Aloha Paul,

Mahalo KnifeBrother, the background came of an Episode III game that my daughter bought for me for Christmas, and I for some reason saved it for :spyder: photoshoots. This was way before we settled on the name Lava for my design too! OOOOOOOoooeeeeeeeeeeeeOOOOOOO (spooky music). :p

The fine traction grooves are great, and truly enhance the features of the Lava for sure. ;)

God bless and take care

DW quote* Lemme tell you, some of these Hawaiian brothers have HUGE mitts! They too, said the Lava felt like a "part of their hands"...so much so that I thought I had to do some takedowns on staff to get it back!..not kidding.*

That's fantastic! I didn't think that my hands were that big, but I guess they are considering plenty :spyder: 's just don't fit my hand. Believe it or not, I could even use an extra 1\2" on the Manix!
Again, I can't wait to get this one! BRAVO, Chad! :)

Aloha Michael Cook,

Lil' Terror? Odd...my pal Dexter Ewing called it the Cute Lil' Bastard! :D

Ya know, due to the fine texturing and the way this fits YOUR hand, uh...lemme just say that in MBC type movements and demands, it does very well. ;)

Aloha #9,

Thanks buddy! Just remember, when you do get some Lava in your hand, allow it to "flow" to your hand...don't force it, or try to conform to it's lines...it'll conform to you! ;)

Dear CLB, ;)
Mahalo much for sharing those great pics of what seems to me it's an excellent design. Again, I want to tell you how happy I am for your achievement. The only drawback at your knife is those SS handles, which I'd rather preffer to be CF instead (DOH! Me and my big mouth). ;) I wanted to ask for some pics with your knife in the hand, but I guess I can wait for my own (Forum Edition :D ) Lava and see for myself. ;)

Thanks for posting your knife next to mine. I'm not sure it was a good idea though (at least for me). It's just like it happened on that beach, you know, when you came next to me, all the girls were looking only towards you ;)

Chad,
Congrats again on getting the lava into production. Great pics as well.

P.S. I can't believe we have to wait till July for the Lava.
