Tuffram Cricket - I'm in love!!!

#1

Post by RLR »

Got a tuffram (sp?) alluminum Cricket and I love it!!! I just happened into a gun shop and saw a whole bunch of them NIB. After hearing the raves about them, I jumped on the wagon. I have a zytel one that sits in a drawer; this one is in my pocket for good. Sounds perfectly solid, looks classy and works great. Got the plain-edge (like all my Spydies). I've never used Gin-1 but it seems pretty good for light duty. Spyderco has blessed me with ATS55, 34 and VG10, but I think their Gin-1 is quite decent.

It's nice to have a tank-like small folder. I know some of you were looking - if that's still the case, post here and I'll forward the shop's co-ordinates

Cheers,

RLR, I talked to the people at Shooters Choice, right after you posted this, and they said they had just sold all of them to someone in Texas. Now it has to be one of us, it wasn't me and it wasn't you, soooooo. Al

i just purchased a stainless steel plain edge copilot. i wanted something really small, and it was between the crickt, dragonfly, mouse, copilot and navigator, but i decided in the copilot. it should arrive in a couple days. I liked the cricket, buit i liked the shape of the copilot better. does anyone have a copilot?
