I love the Deleon, beautiful knife and your model 2 is a configuration I have not seen before, I really like that also, both very nice. Randalls make a darn fine knife.

Here is my Favorite knife, it does not see any use other then sitting around and looking pretty. Dennis Friedly bowie, and a pic of my Randall model 2

Hey Ron, nice blades. I also have a "regular" Randal model 2...I lucked out on that odd configured Model 2 on ebay several years ago. I am certain it was a custom order, as you said it isn't normal to see that handle on a model 2.

Preference wise, I prefer the regular Model 2 handle but since this is "rare" I had to show it.

Funny thing about the Deleon was that I never knew they existed until this ebayer kept outbidding me on all the Randals I wanted. As he was a rabid collector, he posted what knives he likes in his personal info. I looked at the Deleon models and fell for this one. If memory serves, I outbid him on it. :p Karma is a harsh mistress.

Aloha ALL,

Well, aside from my Biscuit (SINGULAR Spyderknut!!! :D )...I would have to say this one I got recently. Combines two of my favorite things: Wharncliffe blade, "JapWrapped" handle(I can say that because I am half japanese.)

Okay...so do I bend over now for all of you to kick my... :o

God bless and mahalo much Scott!

It''s this one (the one in front ;) ); Fallkniven S1. I have it since today, and will replace the SOG-seal pup that's just behind it, as an outdoors-camping knife.

These three would be my favourite non-Spydies. The Benchmade 905 Mini-Stryker is probably the biggest competitor for in-pocket time to any of my Spydies and I EDC the Wenger Adirondack in addition to my main knife. I really like it for its locking main blade. I carried the CRKT M16 CF for quite a long time and found it to be a great little knife, but the clip position is too high, IMO. When carried in my watch pocket, it would dig into my hip. That said, it's so light, you might not know if you lost it, were it not for that somewhat annoying quality :) .
