About the forthcoming blue Delica

#1

Post by Mr Blonde »

I am really excited about the release of the blue handled Delica. I think that the color alone will make them very good users in front of the general public. Oh..and it's pretty too

My question is: are they going to be part of the regular line-up, or are the blue handled Delicas a sprint run of some sort?

I seem to recall that they were going to be a regular offering, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance,

I am curious about the shade of Blue. May seem a wee bit silly, but seeing it would make it easier to decide....
Lets see, Black, Blue, or Stainless......or mabe, 1 of each......

Wouter,

I think your memory serves you well. I also remember Sal saying that they were going to part of normal production.

Tom,

I think one of each will work just fine! The color is more of a bluey-purpley color. Do you remember the old blue Delica models? The blue Ladybug is a similar blue as well.

IIRC they're on their way to distributors now.

I like the shade of blue on my Ladybug a lot, so if it's anything like that the color is fine by me!
But, regarding my question, could anyone from Spyderco confirm whether the blue Delicas will be part of regular production?

Hi Wouter. Yes, the plan is to make them part of the regular production offering.

What will the handle material be for the blue Delica? When will it be available?

The Blue handle material is same as the black handle, FRN. The Blue handled Delicas are available now.

Thanks Sal, I really want a couple of those but don't really want to go and 'hunt' for them. Besides, I think they'll make great 'entry-level' knives for some of my non-knife friends. Thanks,

Wouter
