G-10 police question

I saw on ebay a g10 police like the one I have with the regular blade not the flat ground. The seller says it is the first run, mine has a gin-1 blade no liner
and his is ats55 so mine has to be older right or am I wrong. Any info on the G-10 police such as number made or rareness. Thanks Denny

First G-10 run was linerless, blade with swedge, and old style clip.
Gin 1 would pre-date an ats55 blade.

I'm pretty sure this one http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18511 came out later. G-10, ATS-55, Liner, no swedged tip. I would say that you are correct.

Hi Guys
Both my GIN-1 blades G10 Police came in Japanese domestic boxes, and I believe that ATS55 replaced GIN-1 in this model

Hi Denny. You have a rare bird there, linerles G-10 Police is harder to find. Indeed yours is older than the ATS-55 model.

I have 2 of the ATS-55 models and they both have liners. This is one Spyder that I truly wish they would bring back. The G-10 Police IMHO is the very best of bunch. It and the G-10 Rookie are just too cool.

Say there Phil in NZ if I am wrong then would you please tell me what you think is the best Police model that the Great Spyder Factory put out. :cool:
