Didn't know this was an auction place.

Go back to E-bay, Gfunk, if all you want to do is sell. This forum is for people who like Spydercos and/or wish to learn about them. It's not for auctions. If you want to talk about Spydercos, hang around. If not, vamoose!

Well, it is nice of you to look out for the others. However, I was sure to read the rules prior to posting - and they mentioned nothing about offering to sell my collectable.

If people do not want the chance to get their hands on this item, I'll be glad to remove the posting. In any event, I feel this is an appropriate venue for the offer.

Gfunk,

Welcome to the forum. Might I suggest that you check out Bladeforums.com and Knifeforums.com. They both have "For sale" and auction forums and would suit your needs better. You are right, there are no rules against selling here (actually I don't remember seeing any rules at all <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>), but how many other for sale posts can you find? I think Sal has probably avoided encouraging selling as he would not want this forum to be seen as competing with commercial dealers.

Take care,
Clay

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow, in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Clay said what I wanted to say. My feelings are mixed. On one hand, I don't view the forum as an advertising tool, but I didn't have a problem when a Club Collector was selling his whole collection. In this case, it was a significant collection.

Where does one draw the line?

I myself possess a black titanium coated Military and it is beautiful!

Sal,

Would it be possible to open a Buy/Sell Forum? I recognize this might conflict with future retail sales, but it might help collectors track down knives they are interested in owning. A comprimise would be to limit the Forum to discontinued knives.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!
