I'm not Sal, but in his absence I can give you the ones that I remember:

Currently it consists of:

1. Gunting & Trainer
2. Chinook

Soon will be added (1st quarter 2001?):

1. Gunting CRIMPT
2. Chinook Trainer
3. Temperance Jr. folders (2 blade styles)
4. Temperance fixed blade
5. Mas Ayoob's folder

Later will be added:

1. ATR (by Sal)
2. Others Rumoured:

Michael Janich
Fred Perrin (Street Bowie concept)
Laci Szabo (folder concept)
Graciela Casillas-Boggs
Bob Lum (Darn Do concept)

Hi Whosyour. I think Carlos has them all (and then some). Thanx Carlos.

Temperance FB's are still a ways out.

On the "later to be added", I'll have to comment;

The ATR was not specifically designed for MBC although I believe it could serve in that area.

The Perrin design will happen in '01.

At this time there is no Janich design although he is the teacher in our local MBC classes and something will likely be developed in the future.

We have a Laci Szabo folder that we're showing at shows for reaction. No decisions yet. The knife is very nice, but sales quantities are also important in tooling up for production.

I have only spoken to Graciela one time and that was to congratulate her on her design. We've not spoken on anything else. (I think Carlos might be instigating here).

The Lum Darndo would not be produced as a MBC piece. More of an overall outdoors "good to have with you" for all purposes model.

Thanks Sal and Carlos,
From what I've read about the ATR I simply can't wait.Sounds like an incredible line-up.I think these are going to turn into my focus point for awhile. The Gunting/trainer and chinook are the best constructed knives I've owned and if the rest of the line follows suit(and I'm positive they will)I see many in my near future

Someday my friends,I'll own em all!!!

I know numbers are big. You can add me for all of the above. The Szabo has been on my wish list for a while. I would love to see a Szabo Spyderco!!! What does the prototype look like Sal?

Thanks and have a Great day!

Hi Theron. Laci's designs are difficult to describe as they are not typical. This is his UUK.

Sorry, no I didn't have a pic. And if I did, I would avoid posting one. What happens is a myriad of telephone calls to the sales dept asking for.... or complaining that they hadn't heard....which causes the sales dept to chase down sal with sharp knives.

I will say that we have a Janich/Snody Ronin in the works.

How about a production version of one of Steve Ryan's models. Several of his models appear to be exotic Spydercos on steroids (ie. they have your hole). And not a small one as produced by CRKT, one of the big boys. Pachucks
