You're gonna love it!
I like that the serrations are shallow and shouldn't be very snaggy at all.

Handle is thinner than expected, like most spyderco fixed blades. wish it were another 1/4" to 1/3" thicker.

don't know how jovial finds it so useful for chopping - it's quite light.

gonna try to arrange another backpacking trip soon to test it out.

Had an old 30-gal plastic trash can that needed to be trashed. Cut it up into disposable pieces pretty handily with a Temperance Cruwear SE.

Also cut a bunch of fresh growth from a blackberry bush that keeps peeking through the fence from the neighbor’s yard. Last time I used a LeafJumper K390 SE. It was easy, but got stained immediately—not from blackberries, just from the cut vines. This time I used a Gooney SE. Stainless steel and stain free.

Jumpmaster 2 opened up the package containing the clip for its sheath. It was nearly brand new - box, papers, everything....but no g-clip oddly. So I added a few CS C clips to my last CKW order.

I'll try carrying it tomorrow. Gonna get the edge tuned up on my sharpmaker too. It's quite sharp, but I want it sharp enough to make arm hairs go flying without coming close to touching my skin.

Ha, just commented on your Vivi’s Others thread about your purchase of this then read this thread and here it is.

As for hacking stuff with it I use two fingers on the ‘find-it-when-I-drop-it’ lanyard and allow it to whip into stuff. Surprisingly effective for such a light fixed blade. In my humble opinion it’s the best knife Spyderco makes by a margin, but each to their own 👍🏻 if you don’t love it I’ll buy it off you.
