I would love an SE BODACIOUS in 15V
I wonder is 15V is conducive to Spyderedge, have not seen it yet unless I missed something. Would love to see that though.

Very excited for the coated Rex 121 drop. Will try to get wharnie this time around. I'm still looking for the Native Chief, Yojimbo, and Yojumbo in 15v too. I thought these would be released in 2025 and here we are in April 2026 and no dealers are talking about these knives anymore. The LW PM2 appears to be up next?

Does anyone have the latest info on the release dates for these 15v knives as we rush past spring?
I bought a Yojumbo in S90v in case I missed the 15v version. I think that I bought it from Bento Box Shop.

YES, bring on the remaining 15v knives!!!
This is probably what I should do. I already sent off some Yojimbo scales to be engraved and I don't even have the knife yet. S90V would be a cool replacement, but I'll bet those are hard to find. I'm still holding out hope for the 15V. I thought if anyone would know what has happened to these knives it would be the people on this forum.
Check Bento Box Shop for the S90V Yojumbo.

For a few years I bought as many copies of M390 and S90V knives as I could. I think S90V is a great steel. I think there are many other great steels too it just depends on what it is you plan to do with your blade.

Looking forward to the remaining 15V knives!

The S90V Yojimbo not the larger Yojumbo, and it’s definitely not available at BBS. If any one knows where in the world to find one, I’d also much appreciate it as it’s basically the last CF/S90V Golden sprint I don’t currently have.

That's the one he's referring to.

There is no way that Yojimbo is worth $500.00 where does a price like that even come from?

The first thing that came to mind is, is this REX 121? or 15V?

And the final thought is maybe SPYDERCO is having to sell S90V at a we don’t have anymore price with Erasteel owning stuff now?

Whatever the case with prices like these I will not be buying, just for the sake of principal of refusing to get ripped off if nothing else, I can afford it but the value does not meet the price. Not even close but maybe this is the change Eric hinted at, if so they can keep the change, I’ll keep my cash.

Yeah I read it here somewhere maybe one of Mushrooms posts but I think it was hinting at Magnamax.

But these prices yikes it’s enough to make a fella pull the trigger on the affordable good stuff while it is still reasonable. I am seriously considering buying a back up Bodacious S30V Serrated version after seeing such huge price spikes.

Who knows what’s driving this there sure are a lot of things going on globally, maybe the steel availability is worse than we can imagine and this is what SPYDERCO has to do to keep going, hence Sals open discussions with us about Chinese steels and manufacturing?

Seems to me these prices are a warning of things to come.

It wasn’t $500 when it was released. It was $180ish or so. I don’t remember how long ago that was, or if it was a sprint or regular, but that $500 price is probably the markup for an older, in demand, discontinued piece.

For what it’s worth, I’m unaware of the comments from Eric being mentioned. When I said Magnamax is coming, it was pure speculation based on how well the Mule team was received and how much hype the steel has received in general. Sal has since confirmed they will use it in future knives as well.

When I said they have big decisions about Magnamax that was because Larrin said it has similar corrosion resistance to Magnacut. Therefore I was just guessing that Spyderco could end up making it a Salt series steel alongside Magnacut.

As for the price of that Yojimbo, that is not a standard price. It is an exclusive run from around 2017, so it is listed at an inflated collector value.

I really do wonder if the hollow grind for the Yojumbo in 15v is what's causing it to take so long. I could see how processing that in 15v could both take longer than on easier steels to work with while also leading to longer QA.

Either way, it's the knife I've wanted the most since the reveal and will for sure end up being my most carried while also (hopefully) my most least used 😅. I have stuff for EDC, packages, etc. I carry a bum bag sling with all my daily stuff in it with me anytime I'm not in the house. The YoJumbo will literally be what it's designed for, last ditch self defense in my pocket.

I know it won’t be made but I will unashamedly commit to buying a Bodacious SE in 15V or REX121 or both and they would get my 5 to $600.00

Bentos Box Shop is always the most expensive Spyderco dealer. I own that black and brown g10 yojimbo and it is gorgeous. Street price was certainly less than $300, otherwise I wouldn't own it.

😝 If BBS no longer has S90V Yojumbos I may have ordered the last one!

I took a picture of the box with BBS note and S90V Yojumbo but the image was too large to upload.

I am not a knife maker or knife retailer, I'm just a beggar like the rest of you, and beggars cannot be choosey.

I bought the $350 copy, not the one with dlc and brown grips.

I believe it's not sold out yet. Last time they were dropping them in batches. I managed to grab one about 2 hours after the initial release. I hope it's the same this time. My guess is that is to give more chance to people to get one. Lots of folks can't be available exactly at the time of the drop.
