That is an Ai generated image.

Have to say though, if it ends up looking similar to that without the AI garbage, it will be a pretty cool looking knife!

I had a Finch Knives Harvester that gives those vibes and always loved the colorway.

If you can imagine this knife as a folder, that is very close to what the design is. It's not a direct 1:1 translation but it gets the idea across. The scales are flat though, not contoured.
THANK YOU so very much !
Although I am surprised that it isn't contoured (has flat scales ) that might make it OK for my tastes .

e.g.
Though I love to look at the Dark Green color on the top Dragonfly the other two (G-10 with exsposed liners works better for me in hand . Is a little more square cornered and no swoopy finger groove .

All AI based off the teaser, but should give us an idea until it’s actually released.

No photos of any knives are allowed at the meet. Only the photos Spyderco allows Wouter to take.

We did get one preview shot of the 50th Anniversary knife from this years meet.

I could only show this teaser for now. Many already surmised from the 2026 catalog that it was going to be a Native 5, but here’s a first look at the bolster. Once this design is officially unveiled, I can share more photos of this production sample, which will see some minor refinements before actual production.

No, generally not of prototypes. This was just a fun experiment with AI using the known photo.

That is an interesting AI experiment, but could you alter these images and remove or change the text included in these images? I would not want to have people thinking it was either a photo I took or an 'official' spyderco design production sample. Thanks!

That is correct, Spyderco will do a formal 'unveiling' first, once it is ready to be presented.

I am definitely down for one of the Spyderco folders with a full liner. I prefer the heft of a folder with a full liner.
