As I mentioned on their IG teaser post, my guess is that it’s a PM2 Bowie in DLC M4. It’s not a Military 2.

After looking at the screw construction in the picture, the clip holes beside the lanyard looks Military 2 but the clip is shown closer to middle and not as big of a knife. Also the body screw that is near the lanyard hole looks more Military 1. The scales look milled so my guess is PM2 exclusive. Possibly a tanto but most likely just classic blade in a scale design version. If it’s a Bowie I’d be shocked and awed. That would cool af.

I think the Bowie blade shape is exclusive to KnifeCenter.

This would be a cool knife, Military or PM2 in M4. Not a fan of DLC but if they followed up with satin in the future it would be pretty killer.

Thanks for the voices of reason - I’m seeing how that profile and clip proportion could be a PM2. That would still be cool. Jade G10 and M4 are both materials I hardly know, but and am attracted to in a military-line rig.

Anyone explain what advantage there is to a tango blade? Just piercing? I know they are very sought after.

Collectors grab them because they're unique and rare. I personally think that the normal drop point is a better EDC option (there's a reason why Sal designed them that way originally)

I can't really argue that they're superior to anything, I just like them. I do find that you get the pull cutting power of a wharncliffe with the bottom edge and then a really strong tip, but it's not like a normal blade shape is useless by comparison. Call it more of a guilty pleasure.

It’s what I kind of thought. No need for one but the collector side of me thinks they are cool. Knowing for what they sell on the secondary market this would be the best chance to get one.

You certainly may be right, but wasn’t the forest green 204P combo exclusive to KnifeWorks? Maybe BHQ went on a shopping spree and picked up the rights to use the Bowie blade shape from KC too? I guess time will tell what’s up their sleeve! Cheers, Radioactive

Never say never, but since we did not even have one bowie PM2 from KC yet, it would be surprising ! Feels like people want some bowie though, on the groups it's all they talk about, or the Tanto
