Re: What’s your handiest Spyderco?
I understand the spirit of the question, but that's not how I pick a knife to carry. Since I don't have a job or routine that requires specific characteristics, I just grab the one that appeals most that day, and that's nearly always at least Manix or PM2 size. Since I'm at home most of the time, I know I can grab a different one if the need arises.
But in the spirit of the question, I do find it remarkable how much the Native, Yojimbo, Chaparral and Salt can get done for their size, and how they practically disappear in the pocket. Handy little devils!

Manix 2. Always fit my hand like a glove and the blade length is about perfect for utility. Doesn't have too aggressive of a belly in the blade shape either which is nice for those utility tasks.
Re: What’s your handiest Spyderco?
You beat me to it .
Now I have to think about another answer .
For now I will say this Tenacious (software here insists I put it at the bottom of the page) but will try to come up with a stock / not modded one .
The Delica sure came to mind too . What can't it do . . . well slice an apple but I still love it .
High end Delica ? How about this one ? :
A knife vendor ordered them special for their store (can't remember which store ? Knife Center ?). I like it better than the Spydie factory outlet Ti handled one because I like the jimping on the spine of the handle . The black details are cool too ! ! !
Sorry 'bout the out of focus .
PS : FORGOT TO MENTION I PUT MY HAP 40 CLAD BLADE IN THIS ONE
Re: What’s your handiest Spyderco?
Thought about it a while .
For stock blades I would say :
Para .
One of these . Can't pick one .
The 2 has the length I want and pointy point (for handy) (for a shorter blade application it is super easy to choke way up on the blade holding at the giant Spydie hole . Brilliant knife !)
The 3 has the more pronounced negative edge angle I want ( for handy ) . . . love this handle length (to da max ) .
Both could be much thinner for ANY THING I need it for .
((thinner is handier))

Re: What’s your handiest Spyderco?
For a 'handy' knife, I have used several knives for 5th pocket carry, including the Dragonfly, my former favorite. I very much appreciate the Chaparral and its thin, super-slicey blade. But no small knife feels better in my hand than a Lil Native. My favorite right now is one with a 10V blade and aftermarket micarta scales--and always without a pocket clip.
I'm looking forward to the Lil Native lightweight with its thin stock, 15V blade.

Added a ceramic mug, "The Edge is a Ghost". Great mug!

I would have to say that my LeafjumperSE & PE is my handiest knife. My problem is that I have others that are close to being as handy, so I don’t carry the LJ as often as I should!

^^That's something that deserves a calendar page.
I do really love all my Lil Natives but my vote has to go to its budget friendly competitor. I could get away with a Cat for most all of my day to day tasks. Cheap, cheerful, and always forgotten. It's a budget Lil Sage 1 and it's delightful.

The reason I tried, and then got my Leafjumpers (SE and PE - K390) was all your postings about them. And I also think they are great and Handy!

Re: What’s your handiest Spyderco?
That really depends and evolves. Also depending on the day, but in general it's roughly between 3 and 3.5 inch blade (a bit less or more), preferably light weight and a hollow or full flat blade. This will come in handy for most days. I love the sliceyness of the Chap, but prefer a bit longer blade in general.
One of my new favorites is the Calypso Jr which is about 2.8 inches?! And on the smaller side of my preferences just a hair longer than thr Chap.

Caly Jr. like @Paul Ardbeg says, except for me it's an old favorite.

As for my most ‘handy’ knife, by a vast margin it’d be the Jumpmaster 2 - I use that thing at work all day everyday for everything you can conceivably use a knife for and it just works. Chopping up a papaya off a tree for a snack on break - JM2. Chopping down a whole papaya tree for green mulch - also JM2. Cracking and prying open logs to expose bugs for my friendly mated pair of Javan Mynahs (I’ve known them for going on 7 years and they come when I whistle their family song (which brings me no end of joy) - JM2. Wedging open a kerf to free a pinched chainsaw - JM2. Making feather sticks to start a fire for a brew and forgot a bushcraft knife - JM2. Popping a tire bead on the woodchipper and haven’t got a lever - you guessed it - JM2.
I love my JM2. It’s the most reliable and versatile tool I’ve ever owned.
Pic of the resident female Javan Mynah for interest. They’re the drunken pub brawlers of the avian world in this neck of the woods and extremely sassy.

Or this one. Non-locking means that closing is faster/more frictionless, which makes it handier for quick cuts.
