Calypso Jr sprintrun in ZDP-189. Was able to buy it used, but still in great shape. Very lucky to find this beaut 🤗

I love this one. I was lucky enough to score two of them. I also have a few in VG10 and Superblue. Man, I can only dream of a Calypso Jr. in SPY27 !
Would love to add a Superblue version! A new iteration would be very interesting, maybe without the sharpening choil 😉

One of the best Para2s in my humble opinion. Love the 3D effect CF and the M4 is a fun steel. Green is for the springtime hope in the air. Going to be a warm day here - 20s!

EDIT : to crop image ; there , that's better ; If you click on / enlarge the image you may be able to see the blue patina .

I think that of all my knives this one comes the closest to " effortless " cutting .
1.9 mm at the spine , reprofiled a little , mirror Edge Pro Apex edge to 1 micron diamond .
M4 blade swapped into Black G-10 Tenacious handle .
Added jimping to spine of handle near blade .
Trying to show blue patina (and the edge) . Oh well .
She may not be pretty but feels " Right " in my hand.

Remember when magazines cost 60 cents ?
I bought this one new . Has a Christmas ride story that I read every December . Two Euro dudes ride out to the woods , pour one for each , light cigars and wish each other seasons greetings .
I haven't put it away for the year yet .
