Work Sharp RMX

I was curious about this knife. I opted for the drop point, and I received it today.

My first impressions:
Wow. The handle is cold. Magnesium in winter? Unless I'm wearing gloves, I won't carry it until spring.
The handle is a single piece integral.
The shape feels decent in hand.
The blade is sharp-ish. Near the handle it feels sharper than near the tip. It's better than some factory edges I've had, not as good as others.
The blade is made from Böhler M390.
The button lock....I've never been sold on button locks, but this one feels solid. Better yet, the button isn't a detent, it locks the blade closed, unlike the ball-detent knife that opened in my pocket a couple years ago.
On top of this, the pivot is a cartridge design. It came with the manual pivot installed, but it includes an automatic pivot, should I ever move to a free state where I can possess and carry an automatic.
The workmanship looks very good, but the blade isn't well-centered from the factory.

I intend to carry this, but based on the weather -- and my hand's intolerance for cold -- it may be a while before I really know whether I like it or not.
Oldest: 1974 Buck 110.
Newest: Lil Native Lightweight PE, BD1N
Knives owned: Too many, yet always finding another.
Added a ceramic mug, "The Edge is a Ghost". Great mug!

I have the reverse tanto in 3V. Definitely wasn't sharp from the factory, but it didn't take much work to fix that. I did install the automatic pivot and the spring pushes the blade noticeably off-center, but not so badly that there's blade rub (or even close). It's an interesting knife, with a blade that's ground nicely thin, but overall, I'm not impressed.

Not bad for the price. I got the reverse tanto and I like how slicey it is but I don't love the bearings. Overall pretty happy, but I never intended to use it as an automatic. Tried it out and mine tracked fine after some tuning.

Great price for a super lightweight integral in 3V is all I can say. I got it way back in June and haven't used in the past 2 months. I never noticed it being specifically colder or anything but I generally don't pay much attention to that and it wasn't as cold 2 months ago.
