Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
Would love the new Sage 6 in Rex 121 but can’t afford it!
Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
Hate to be the price guy, but… wow!
Sage 6 Rex now in line with Chris Reeve Sebenzas. Didn’t think I’d see the day.

The MAP will probably be around $425. But that's still too rich for my blood

The PM2 LW is going to be a massive hit. It is already seeing a sprint run!
We finally got the Charisma and in four colors to boot.![]()
Love seeing more Ed Schempp designs coming out! The Retract was in the case at BLADE show too. Super comfortable in hand, definitely a must have.
THREE new Lil Natives!!!![]()
The coated Meerkat looks really cool. Kind of surprised to see that one.
That Damasteel Chaparral is a beautiful piece.
And lastly the new merch looks great! I'll be buying at least two of each hat... One for the whole thing and one just for the patch.
_______
I noticed the blade shape on the Chaparral Rex121 is different. It has the same blade profile as the Slip-it Chaparral. The Damasteel Chaparral still has the traditional Chaparral blade shape though. I haven't used the new blade shape in the slip-it yet but based on aesthetics alone, I prefer the original blade shape.
Edit - Thought I just had an epiphany moment...but I immediately proved myself wrong.
I thought maybe they're using a different blade profile on the Chaparral variants that have taken a step beyond the original intention of the Chaparral series, showcasing handle materials. For example the Slip-it uses a different lock and Rex 121 is a different steel, so they get the subtly differentiating blade shape. But then right next to it is the Damasteel Chaparral with the traditional blade shape, so I don't know if I was on to anything or not.![]()

The G-10 UKPK Salt and 15v lightweight lil Native garnered my attention.
@Mushroom the blade shape on the chaparral might just be photoshop at this point.

Are there steel liners in the chaps?

Best reveal ever!
G10 Chap in Rex 121, G10 mag UKPK, 15V lil native LW and finally The Charisma! Nice job Spyderco.
…performance orientated knives are finally becoming a thing it seems - lots of <2.5mm stock to see here.

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
Surely the Dodofly will be in Reveal 21?
Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
The difference is subtle but there is a difference. The traditional Chaparral blade shape has more of a "bullnose" than shown on the Rex 121 version. The Rex 121 model has a more acute leaf shaped blade, omitting that "bullnose" shape.kobold wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 11:19 amthey look the same to meMushroom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 9:59 amJust an all around winner. I checked the slip-it Chaparral at the SFO in November and it was like that in person too. It actually seemed easier to spot the difference in person than in photos.
Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
Charisma, yes. Very glad to see it is USA made.
Rex Button Sage, yes. Probably can't afford.

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
I love the charisma - I hope it doesn't feel like a victorinox paring knife for $90+ though
Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
I like the love for some of the smaller knives here! Some unexpected surprises for sure. Nicely done Spyderco!
I don't want to hear about the action of your knife - Rick

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
Wow, what a spectacular reveal.
Bravo, Spyderco!!!
As a lefty, I sincerely appreciate the continued support. While I actually prefer the righty compression lock, many of my fellow lefty friends will enjoy that new option!
So much to like here, and of course the big standouts to me are the Para 2 LW 15V (which I will probably pick up several of) and all the new Lil’ Native models. The Lil’ Native, from both a design and execution standpoint, is one of the best knives Spyderco has ever made, or anyone else for that matter.
The big sleeper win, for me at least, are the pink-handled Lil’ Native LWs. It’s super fun, because it is a configuration I had asked Sal about not that long ago, so to see it show up in the reveal in just a lovely moment. So cool.
I was NOT expecting brand new 15V releases on brand new models and goves me great hope that we still could see a Manix 2XL and a Bodacious in 15V. The 15V train rolls on and I’m all for it! What a fantastic arc the 15V has been in Spyderco’s storyline. We continue living in the golden age.
I have the Para 3 LW 15V and it is a great little knife; really surprised me. However I tend to gravitate a little bit more to the PM2. I have a feeling that the PM2 LW 15V will be a new EDC for me. Thank you so much Spyderco for keeping prices reasonable on that knife. Very excited!

Hi WilliamMunny,
Actually, it was Eric that had the foresight to buy everything before it was too late.

If I see Eric at the SFO, I will have to thank him for that specifically, amongst other things.sal wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 12:47 pmWilliamMunny wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 10:02 amAnother great job, the PM2 LW in 15V definitely caught my eye. Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
hmm, nothing for me, but a lot of models that will surely sell great and please many. so, i'd still call it a good reveal. I'll bide my time and wait for the manix xl salt and 5" police and be thrilled with both.

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
I'm thinking Charisma. Eric G. makes practical , useful knives that cut and slice well. This one is a lockback and slim and light. Right up my alley in fact. Probably one of the only ones I'll buy this year that aren't mostly about the steel.
