Multitool Monday : back to office with the Victorinox Campflame.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
testing out an ugly 9-10 dps edge with no microbevel on my SRKC. Did a little batoning, chopping and carving.

Cuts well. Also used my heat gun on the sheath to increase retention.

How do you like it so far ? Looks very appealing, looks like it wouldn’t take up a lot room than in pocket . Dan

I like it a lot.
It carries very well for the size, much like the Police folder. When you look at the specs on paper (6" blade), it gives a very different impression than when you clip it to your pocket.
Despite being legal to carry and use, it's one of the only folders I've ever owned that feels like it'd be a bit much to pull out and use. It's the only folder I've used that looks big in my hand.
Here's a comparison with a Pacific Salt:

The blade shape is the best I've ever used for utility work. Wharncliffe with a very slight concave shape to it. It's a perfect blade shape for slicing cardboard or cutting thick zip ties, etc.
I dyed mine darker, darkened up the clip, and reprofiled it to 15dps.
Out of the box it wasn't nearly the slicer a Voyager XL is because of how short the blades grind is, but with the 15 degree edge it cuts cardboard and other materials just fine.
It always amazes me how well it carries. Assuming your pockets are long enough, it's very narrow and light for such a big knife. For me it's less noticeable in the pocket than a Manix XL, C95, 4 Max, Voyager XL etc.
For me it offers three grip positions. Two fingers in the first finger groove for more choked up, just my index up there for a general use grip, and index finger in the second finger groove for chopping and hacking.
Zero play and ultra smooth action. The machined G10 feels nice in my grip too.
I could see the mini making a nice work knife with its blade shape. I'll be visiting a huge knife shop that stocks them on our spring break road trip and will check one out then.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

last year my recon spear point in OD green was my most carried non-spyderco, but this year I've been enjoying the 4 Max Scout OD for day to day carry and the American Lawman at work.
