In Poland I carry whatever I want in my pocket.
Pretty similar in Romania. The only times I'm knifeless ;) is either when attending concerts/events or when on a plane. While from 2020 on I've carried predominantly autos, Spydercos still make up roughly 1/3 of my current accumulation, the vast majority being Militaries and Salts. I would buy new Spydercos if the design spoke to me (first step would be to lose that stupid 50/50 choil).

I don't own European brands apart from some Bokers that I carry once in a while (like the Kihon Bifold), a handful of Moras/Marttiinis (that I no longer carry) and an appallingly large quantity of Vics (that do get decent pocket time).
I am so honored and glad to learn these things.
Thank you all!
BrJ, I was chatting with someone from Romania and he told me the local markets have great hand made sausages (one of my favorite foods) and bread.
Are there Romanian manufacturing factories similiar to how the Czech Republic has Mikov, that produce folders and fixed blades or are most Romanian knives the military bayonets and local hand made knives?

Regarding the Spyderco Military and Salts you like, are there any new features you would like to see Spyderco add to those models?

Everyone, one of my dreams that is most likely too difficult to actually happen, but would be so amazing, is to see Spyderco officially license each European country to make their own version of Spyderco knives.

In Russia folding knives with a blade length of less than 150 mm and shorter than the handle are legal. You might not be allowed into a public event or institution with a knife, but generally, you can carry one anywhere. The exceptions are balisongs and automatic knives with blades longer than 90 mm.

Fixed knives are more complicated. They are divided into bladed weapons and utility knives. The differences are very minor, simply a formality. Bladed weapons are prohibited from being carried except when hunting. However, the penalties for carrying one are not severe, so if you really want to, you can. The main thing is to behave decently and not brandish knives in public places.

Hi SpyderEdgeForever,

Regarding your first question: I won’t even consider thinking about new models until we see a realistic price level for Spyderco knives over here.
[...]
I agree, it's getting out of hand and "working knives" have become luxury knives over the past 5 years. Consequently, the secondary market has become my new best friend. I just scored a brand new Fluted CF Native 5 for 180€. For new models it is indeed harder. There are ways, but it's a pain and you really need to want the knife a lot to go to that extent !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Usually I carry a Salt 2 SE and a Victorinox Waiter, everywhere.
Recently I stopped carrying the Salt 2 when going out to night clubs and such, but the SAK is usually with me.
I line in Porto, Portugal by the way.
