This is the year of the Military 2 for me , I can see a couple more in my future. MG2

Good on ya, brother.
Same here. I never even wanted a Military. Then one day I saw them in 15V and thought, "What the heck?" I fell in love with the platform, and the steel just makes it even better. On a scale of 1-10, this one's a 12.

One thing for me it is the most comfortable to operate the comp lock over many models . Sure I would love a lefty version but can easily use the righty . Dan

2025 was a good Spyderco year for me. First off, during February, I acquired the Sprint Run versions of the Delica, Dragonfly and Manbug in Micromelt PD#1. To round off the year, I was able to add the 2016 Sprint Run variant of the Ladybug in HAP40/SUS410 and a K390 version in November. Pride of place though, go to my two "New-in-the-Box" ZDP-189 Ladybugs. These two came scalpel-sharp out of the box and are awesome slicers!

I bought quite a few Spydercos this year. Call it beginner's enthusiasm, I suppose. There were a couple of knives I researched a lot, like the Manix 2 and the Delica 4 SE in K390, but favorite buy really surprised me.

I bought an SE Chaparral LW on whim after seeing folks rave about the Chaparral on this forum. When I first got it, I was surprised at just how small and thin it really was, and I almost sent it back. But since then, it has gotten by far the most pocket time of any knife in my collection. I love how Taichung does their FRN and I'm an now fully on team wire pocket clip. The next knife on my list is a Sage 5, something that wasn't even on my radar until I got the Chaparral.

I waited all year for the blackout G10 Manix Salt and it was worth it.

I'll echo the 15V Military 2 for my choice.

SPY27 Sage 5 LW is also very, very good. And SPY27 Endela I just got might eventually edge the Military 2 but going to need more than a week with it to decide.

The Vallotton I just scored is a really great knife guys. So much extra time goes into all the little differences that basically screams money lol...

My latest buy just hit the deck here today. I bought a few kitchen knives and they seem to be straight Spyderco knives. These two blue ones stand up on the edge, way cool idea.

Was so overwhelmed by getting my hands on the Hundred Pacer that I almost forgot about another grail that I got this year.

It's between the PM2 and Para 3 right now. I'm kinda digging the Para 3 at the moment.

Next to my Military 2 in 15v, this is the knife that I am still grateful to have been able to get.

Perhaps unoriginal, but still very true to me: the Military 2, and specifically the 15V knife. Dominated the carry this year. I thought I was a PM2 guy, or at least I was before I tried the M2. I still have my gang of PM2s, and I carry them plenty to work or more social scenarios (city boy) but they get much less time now that I’ve tried the M2 and I’m mostly on the lookout for M2 exclusives in the new year. It just has the perfect ergonomics and reach for how I like to cut things and I feel stoked to have found yet another Spyderco the works like an extension of my hands.

I couldn’t agree more . Must say you expressed it much better than I did in my post . Dan

It really feels like, on this forum at least, C95 interest is about as high as it has ever been.

fingers crossed we see a revival - but even if we don't I'm glad seeing so much appreciation for it these days.

I only added one to my collection this year, a Crucarta Millie 2. I think that if I add another next year, it'll be the Crucarta Native Chief.

It's a fantastic EDC knife, really covers anything you could want. My only problems are that it doesn't fit in all my jeans pockets (right?), and one of the body screws fell out (easy fix when I get around to it).

Edit: I did also buy my wife a pink Native 5 for her birthday this year. She doesn't love the action, but does love the ergonomics and the good cause.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Well I didn't know where I wanted to post this . I kind of thought of starting another thread called : Did You Ever Buy Your Knife It's Own Pet ?
(but fortunately was able to stop myself in time)

So I got a Spyderco Drunken for my sixty fifth birthday . Been carrying it some since March , it's a user .
Then I kept seeing the Pochi . . . usually I would shake my head and start finding things that made it NOT an ideal knife for me .
However something , almost subliminal , kept making me keep track of it in the knife world . I finally looked at some reviews of it . . . hmmmm . . . so the lock is iffy ehh ?
Still I keep watching it , the avaiability , the price . . .

oh looky there , the blue anodized appointments ( pocket clip and the big disc at the pivot that acts as an over travel stop ) they remind me of the Drunkin's Blue Ti Ano stuff . . .

OK . . . so what . . . I'm still not getting one .
Wrong for me .
Wrong
Wrong
Good for some folks
Wrong for me .

Discontinued huuuhhh ?
Subliminal voice : "Now is the time you should get one" .

What's going on ? ? ? ?
Turns out . Turns out .
My Drunkin was whispering in my ear as I slept on the couch .
He wanted a side kick / or pet if you will .
Arrived today inspite of all the weather problems and Christmas shut down / mail lag.
USPS : I'm impressed THANK YOU !

Ohhhhhh what the heck . . . we didn't have any S45VN in the stable . . . ok why not get some .
(it is kind of cute . . . kind of cute ! What am I saying ? ) :O
:smlling-eyes
And it did get that box of croissants open (keeping the box tape glue off the Drunkin) . He's trying to be useful . . . :thinking
PS : sorry ; tried to get an image of each up here but the soft wear here is "wearing " me out .
