As a material supplier, I run in to this misunderstanding CONSTANTLY. I can just about guarantee that the blue jean scales are just blue Micarta/phenolic.
I get a handful of people who ask for denim Micarta, when they actually mean a blue colored Micarta that resembles blue jeans. Denim can be any color, and is just the style of weave which causes a diagonal ribbing like on the natural denim Micarta I had for sale a while back. It's not something I've had for sale in quite some time, so I think linking is ok.

Manix2 Salt CPM-Magnacut Black DLC Blade Black Grooved G-10 C101GMCBK2 (USA) is/was trickling in to some US dealers.
I've been saying for years Spyderco need to start doing some machined G10 patterns, and this is absolutely a step in the right direction. I can't say I absolutely love this pattern but it's more appealing to me than flat scales and is functional so it's a win win. I hope they expand on it for more than just Salt models, I'd love to see something that's similar to the bidirectional FRN pattern with the Bug in the center like the Native 5 LW.

I have the Millie 2 with this handle, and it's impressive. I'd like to see this in St. Nicks' red.
