I’m nearly set. My shortlist is down to:
Centofante
Native 5 Crucarta
Oldest: 1974 Buck 110.
Newest: Li’l Native, CPM 15V, G10, Backlock
SE models: Dragonfly 2 Salt, Lil Native, Chaparral, Salt 2, Byrd Hawkbill 2, LeafJumper K390, Mule MT46S, Temperance CruWear
Knives owned: Too many, yet always finding another.
Added a ceramic mug, "The Edge is a Ghost". Great mug!

For once, pretty much nothing. I'm waiting for models that don't yet exist at this point, 15V Yojumbo, 15V Bodacious, Bodacious Salt, SE Military 2 Salt.

I was waiting for the Manix XL Salt but got impatient and opted for the Crucarta. No regrets.

I'm aiming for the shortest of short lists this year. Ideally zero items.

What are the chances of both of us having exactly the same list? Maybe we're long-lost twins separated at birth.

My three favorite knives are the Military 2 15V, Manix 2 (HW and LW) in 15v, and Stretch 2 XL in PD#1 and Cruwear. I've got every base covered. What could Spyderco possibly offer that would be better?

Maybe I'd bite if these models were offered in Magnamax. If they were offered in Magnamax SE, my curiosity would probably get the better of me. But really, I already have the perfect knives.

Nothing, at the moment. It takes something with serious "wow factor," like the Paysan, to catch my interest now.

The new release of the black Bumblebee scaled Manix 2 Salt sure didn't stay in inventory at the Spyderco factory very long lol...

They still show its full size big brother as coming soon... What I was checking on, when I noticed the little Manix 2 was out of inventory... Spyderco pocket Knives make for such a great Christmas gift...

Doubt it will be much longer for the XL.

I checked about 30 retailers when I saw the mini had dropped, and no dice.

100% will be worth the wait though. Really excited to carry it next summer!

I think my Military 2 Salt was my most carried spyderco pocket knife in 2025 because it's so practical. Salt rust proofness combined with a very high end feel. Nothing against the linerless Pacific Salts I relied on for decades, it's just nice not having to choose rust proof or premium lined G10 feeling. Now I can have both in one package!

A Native 5 plain edge in Magnacut. Chap XL aside, this is all I want.

Are these no longer in production?

I think they're still being made, just very popular especially with Magnacut steel. I found a few fully serrated versions:
(EDIT - SOME OF THESE ARE LC200N, AND SOME ARE MAGNACUT)

$165 - https://www.dlttrading.com/spyderco-nat ... y-serrated
$162 - https://www.stnicksknives.com/products/ ... 8e3d&_ss=r
$145.50 - https://www.safeandlockstore.com/knives ... -magnacut/
$162 - https://bladeops.com/spyderco-yellow-na ... dge-blade/
$162 - https://riversedgecutlery.com/spyderco- ... t-c41syl5/

My short list includes the Native Chief 15V, Manix 2 black salt (and maybe the XL version also), and last but not least the Police 5 with G-10 grips and a 5" blade :astonished .

Update: one of the new 'not-yet-announced' Bodacious models to be released, hopefully in 15V, but eventually in Magnamax *fingers crossed*

I missed the shopping window but have a little money to play with. I’m thinking a Cruwear cento3.

CruWear and Rex 45 Shamans, but the prices for these on eBay are a bit ridiculous at the moment.

Looks like I’ll be buying the first few knives in Magnamax, haven’t had to sharpen that one yet. Seems great so far.

I’m eyeing the Caribbean. I just love the handle forward, choil free design of the Leafjumper and I think the Carribean would be similar for my use.

I’m thinking I’ll get the first Bodacious SE in something other than S30V, hopefully in Magnamax or a Salt.
