Wow! I would have thought K390 would be covered in rust having that happen. I almost picked up a used k390 Urban on eBay but bought a Q-ball instead.

Low temps are what saved it. Since there was no thaw in that period, freezing temps prevented complete soaking of the blade and reduced corrosion rates.
