Bug abalone limited?

Is this model limited or a normal run?

Didn’t see anything about it being limited on spydercos site, but some site say it is a special run.

I ordered 2 today from Knife Center. It showed I Stock but when I paid for them it says one item in backorder.
I wanted to give one to my niece but just noticed that they don't have locks.
Beautiful little knives though.

They feel and look great in person. The Abalone really pops in the right lighting!

I think I’m going to get one for the daughter. And the 12c27 was a huge upgrade on these and the G10s. Perhaps my new EDC could be the bug. Could you imagine? lol

On some days a Bug is all I need. 🤷‍♂️

The size alone is a novelty for people and they really seem to like them because of that. They're already great gifts but this Abalone version made them that much better.

I can't remember, are there plans to do the other Bugs in abalone? I've really come to love the Grasshopper, would be a nice variant.

Hi David,

We'll be watching reaction to the Bug before deciding.
