UKPK SPY27 in G-10 availability

#1

Post by dickie »

Just wondering what's up with the G-10 version of the UKPK with SPY27?

Ordered this knife some days ago from Knifecenter, while being aware that they showed it as "Delayed by the manufacturer"
As this is not a sprint run I was fine with that and went through with it. On spyderco.com it was possible to order it right away.

After not getting an update I've now checked both bladehq and spyderco.com again and it is markes as Sold out on both sites.

This is a regular production knife and I should still be able to receive my order, right?

It appears to still be in stock at multiple other retailers if you don’t want to wait. River’s Edge, Knifeworks, SMKW…

MAP is really good on these at just slightly more than some of the frn versions, so not surprised they’re selling out.

That's good to know and thanks for the suggestions.
It's just that I'm ordering out of Europe and some of the shops won't sell and ship to my country. Have had good experiences with Knifecenter, hence I placed the order there hoping it would restock soon.

They are around. I recently got one from DLT. Saw a few in stock elsewhere too...

So it's now been more than half a year since placing my order when it was displayed as "usually ships within 2-3 days from the manufacturer" and still no update. Appears to also be out of stock on all the other shops mentioned already.

Really wondering when production in Golden will finally catch up to this model.. can't wait to finally get my first UKPK - and the PE Chapparral in the same order :D
