I have a Burgundy FRN Endura 4 Micro-Melt PD #1 on the way. It should be here Friday or Saturday...So Monday or Tuesday probably. I live over an hour from the nearest interstate. Mail runs a little slow. I want to see if it's really like Cruwear. I won a nice Stretch 2 XL on eBay the other day. I just opened the package 2 hours ago. It doesn't appear to have been used at all....Box and papers for $82. I like it. It was an impulse buy. I was just filling a spot in my Spyder roll. I usually shop, buy or bid more about blade steal than which model. But, I didn't have a Stretch and I may actually use it for food prep so VG-10 for the win on this one. Spyderco needs to make a micro-meld Spock. Every Trekie that's ever been to a Comic Con will line up with their velcro wallets out.
I love my PD#1 Endura sprint. It's a great EDC and the steel performs very similar to Cruwear, in my experience.

I also have a Manbug in PD#1. I had a Dragonfly too, but I sold it because I just never carried it.

Got this pre-owned Burch Chubby in the mail today. Seller gave a big discount due to the modified spine.

Its been awhile, but I have something coming in next week. Picked up a 15V Microjimbo. Been looking at that model for some time now, looks to be a close competitor to the Dragonfly wharncliffe.

So, Black Week. Over here in Europe / Germany, the vendors seemed not to focus on Spyderco very much. But then I idly clicked through the Spydercos of a smaller one and realized they'd also matched the low price of ca 115€ for the Chaparral LW PE that the bigger wholesaler of my choice has aopted for this time of the year.

So far, so good. Marked it down to revisit later this week.

A few pages later, the Chaparral LW with SE... -56%... 74€.

After nearly choking on my coffee, I untangled my fat fingers and immediately bought it.

So that's what's in the mail.

The Chaparral LW SE.

For 74€.

What's not to like? CTS-XHP is a fine steel and that price is lower than it is here in the US.

You made a great choice. I consider the PM2 Crucarta to be ‘the’ quintessential Spyderco. I was at the Seconds Sale this year and handled hundreds of knives, and the absolute best feeling one, was a Crucarta PM2. I spent time with about 4-5 of them, they all felt wonderful. Spyderco tends to do a really great job building these knives in particular. Couldn’t have gotten a better knife, mate!

Okay. Good week to buy things, bad week for bank account.

While awaiting the Manix 2 Crucarta, I am now also awaiting a Lil Native lockback in 15V and an "other" that I won't mention here.
