Back lock Manix, some nice shade of Green G-10 (any color really), and a high hollow grind in 3V, I think they’d sell quite nicely!
We need to pick out a dedicated scale color for 3V.

Re: What would be your dream knife?
I thought my dream knife was the Manix 2 LW in REX45. It was my favorite for quite a while and has a LOT of miles on it. It's still sitting here in my desk waiting to be called into action.
Then the Stretch 2 XL LW in PD#1 came out, and IT became my dream knife. My friend said she needed a big EDC knife, so I gave it to her. The knife was still in stock, so I bought another. All was well in the universe for the better part of a year until the NEXT Reveal was revealed.
The next knife is pretty, has an optimally sized handle, good size blade, comes in a fancy flavor of steel, and a modded compression lock is smooth like butter.
One might be deluded into believing that this Military 2 in 15V is the best knife since bread was first sliced. It's easy to think that. But one should never underestimate the creative minds in Golden. It's only a matter of time that they create a new platform, new steel, new lock, and then THAT will become the best knife ever made. That's the one I dream of. Maybe they'll even make it in purple.

OK this might "scare" some of you . . . too rough texture , too "weak" of a blade . . . too fraternizing with That OTHER brand . . .
Take a Slym and "mate it" with the Siren .
=
Slym handle and blade size
Titanium liners with the very coarse G-10 of the Siren . . . black , I think , or the very dark green like the Brouwer .
I used to say my ultimate dream knife would have an M4 blade , 2mm at the spine and heat treated by Phil Wilson .
Now that Shawn Huston BBB is on the scene big time 15V or M4 . Nothing else though . For me .
Now comes the real tuffy for some : Axis lock .
I know , I know , I know , I know , I know . . . damb traitor . . . they just work for me ; Griptillian and all that .
Get the Spyder hole in the blade ; like the Siren or the Slym both are great !
Just a touch of negative blade angle ; not so much as the Ayoob .
Polish up the whole blade ; not so much for looks but polished blades slips through media with less effort . And it makes the Rocsteds jealous.
Here we go again with too much texture ; jimping like the Para 2 on the spine of the handle near the pivot and the blade at the Spyder hole.
No stand offs in the handle but a partial back spacer . Makes for the best pivot action in my experience . Oposite ends of the handle but there it is .
Clip ? Titanium . Like on the old Tasmin ; such a resilient clip you can fit a book under the clip and it comes right back to the handle like nothing happened . I wouldn't mind a bit of dark blue ano if you have the time.
Pivot ; I don't really need bearings as long as the phos bronze washers are nicely done .
Make that a big thick pivot like on a Case Sod Buster. Throw some texture on the pivot heads or make 'em like my Drunken . Fat axle diameter though . Close tolerance fit up ; pivot just slides through the blade with no play at all .
And the pièce de résistance : ~ .009" behind the edge and about 12 degrees per side sharpening angle . (polished of course) .
Take a Slym and "mate it" with the Siren .

Re: What would be your dream knife?
Right now I'm having so much fun with various Spydercos that I don't even know how to answer this question. But if I had to choose something, it would be a slightly shortened Bodacious (think 3-3.25"), with a Magnamax blade w/ a shortened Spyderedge section (think 3/4"), a Salt style handle, with a contour (similar to the Shaman Salt handle) but just a skosh thinner.
If they release a Salt Bodacious and/or a version with Magnamax, I'll probably build my own. I don't even own a Bodacious yet, but I believe the model holds incredible promise and I'm just waiting for the right one. Anything 15V / Salt / Magnamax is going to be the right time.

Re: What would be your dream knife?
I am on board!
For one a high-viz outdoor version in a very tough steel would be nice, and then a Chap Salt would certainly bring that great model in more peoples hands so that the concept of thinner bladed backlock folders could gain traction.
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

Re: What would be your dream knife?
If I was to design my own Spyderco knife it would be a 4" long fixed blade knife with micarta scales, fully serrated edge, stonewashed finish in 15V.
But, I probably couldn't afford that knife. LOL!
Re: What would be your dream knife?

I need one like this TENACIOUS – with a compression lock.
And a long knife RESILIENCE too – with a compression lock.

Cruwear SE Rookie with clean ss/polished micarta handle is my new idea. I just miss clean look on Spyderco knives without all this screws, pocket clip holes and everything else.
Current collection: Lil Temperance G10, Shaman, Lil Native, Massad Ayoob cruwear, Smock, Street Beat, Street Bowie, Para 3, PM2 purple G10 cruwear, Canis, Rhino, Endura 4 K390, Watu, Kapara, Amalgam, Sliverax, Police 4 se K390, Police 4 pe K390, Khukuri, Barong, Ulize, Microjimbo, Smock M4, Lil Temperance 3 K390, Bodacious PE S30V.
Re: What would be your dream knife?
I wouldn't mind this option. A combination of styles and LC200 steel.

And I've been wanting to make this little Delika durable for a long time. A smaller knife = more self-defense. It's invisible, doesn't scare anyone, and is always useful. It's lightweight and ready to demonstrate its strength in the "Defense" version. Getting it into production shouldn't be difficult. In fact, nothing needs to be changed except the thickness. Just make the blade and lock about 1.5-2 times thicker.

Re: What would be your dream knife?
It would be great for pacifists and vegetarians, plus anyone who's legally prohibited from using a lock on a knife. The UK model is too short. I'd need exactly this for eating during my vegetarian days. Incidentally, there are a lot of vegetarians in the world. But no one really makes knives for them...
