I'm pouring one out for Joe right now! Feeling a little sad for us all at the loss. I just posted in the other thread, and feeling the feels. He was such a solid dude.

I was just carrying my PE CruWear sprint last night and this morning too.

He for sure will be missed. A serious Spyderco Afi for decades.

RIP JD.

I miss you JD. He was around in the early days of “forum boards” and always had reasonable, measured posts and responses. And he really had a passion - and I do appreciate that.

This is such sad news, I always enjoyed JD's enthusiasm.

Rest In Peace, sir.

You are missed, indeed.

RIP, JD Spydo. Many of us resonate with his enthusiasm for the “Golden Age” Spydies of the 2000s.

I doubt I would have back-filled so many “Golden Age” Spydies without JD’s advocating guidance.

I haven’t posted much lately but I certainly needed to come and share my condolences to his family and also to our family here on the forum. JD was always such a vocal and passionate Spyderco advocate and it’s wonderful we’ll always be able to treasure his Ayoob sprints in honor of his memory. So many losses this year, I’m certainly ready for 2025 to be over. Take care everyone, Radioactive

RIP JD.

His enthusiasm for older Spydercos and certainly the Ayoob was infectious. I learned of the model from this thread and bought several because of him. He made the forum a better place and he will be missed.
