Sorry for being super boring, but this is all I had to test my new Sage on 😂🥳 Being a fan of the Native 5, I always took a pass on the Sage, too similar to the Native 5 i thought. It's crazy how different they handle and I really like the thinner blade on the Sage 6.

Image
I’ve been curious about the Sage handle. I have a Native 5 and PM3 and both handles feel a bit small to me. Is the Sage handle the same size or longer?

The difference between the Sage and N5 are relatively small, but indeed the additional handle length makes the difference. Height of the scales is pretty much the same. Because of the longer handle I have more grip, it fills my hand better.

Sitting down to start

Roughly a minute later,

And...
Done, but for rinsing off & putting in the freezer (except for that liver, which will be eaten tonight)

Image

as likely anyone would guess, the knife performed superbly

I did nothing but show these off all day Saturday all throughout Texas Tech Red Raiders- Raider Alley through I have no freaking how many tailgaters setups.

I had several guys offer some pretty serious offers to buy them as well as my ball here lol. There was lots of people and a good football game yesterday, still have some things they need to clean up on, but our team did ok considering our senior quarterback has a really bad leg.

Looks like a great time indeed V, but you over cooked the NY strip lol, but then I am one that likes'em way rare. They can still move around a little on the knife.

But out like you was, anything cooked however it gets cooked is always killer good. Heck just looking at your pix, I can almost smell that strip lol. I could go for some of it right now matter fact lol. It and another cup of coffee lol.

100%. I thought the fire was low enough it'd still be med rare. was surprised to see hardly any pink when I cut it open. It was still very tender and perfectly seasoned at least. Had marinated it in olive oil, salt, 3 types of pepper and garlic.
