I especially like the allegro fugue starting at 1:10.

24-Bit 176.4 kHz FLAC on Qobuz
Couldn't Stand The Weather
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
Released by Epic - Legacy • January 28, 2013 • 8 Tracks • 38m 07s
I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan in Chicago at the ( ???? Metro or Embassy Ballroom, not sure which location), standing room only, with a construction coworker of mine. We bought 2 pitchers each, took cups, and started walking toward the stage. We poured beers along the way and when we were within 10 feet of Stevie we stopped and had a few beers.

The second movement of Shostakovich's Tenth Symphony is intended to be a portrait of Joseph Stalin - dark, brutal, and relentlessly savage. Composed by a man who lived and experienced Stalin's terror.

Dr Demento has retired (10/11/2025) , but there is a dedicated site for his show. I ordered a T-Shirt and a CD collection.

Re: What are you listening to?
On Qobuz I listened to a little Deep Purple, Elton John, Keith Jarrett, and a mix of other artists. I even listened to a few Poppy pieces, hahaha. Poppy is nutty but she knows how to make money and in the USA that is all that matters for most folks.
If you love rock you have to listen to Deep Purple, "Made in Japan" recorded live in Japan in 1972. Release was at 24bit.
Keith Jarrett, The Koln Concert, or New Vienna, or Barber: Piano Concerto / Bartók: Piano Concerto No. 3, are all live not studio recordings are very good if you love concert piano. If you have never listened to great piano give these a try.
The Elton John pieces were interesting. I think that I can tell the difference between songs remastered in 2016 and 2025. Maybe they used different technologies. The 2025 material was really good.
