I have made a combination of a PM2 and a Para 3.
The blade of a PM 2 (CPM 15V) modified to fit in a handle of a Para 3 LW (with a small modification to the "tail bolt"). It gave me 8 mm additional edge

I used some titanium scales for this G10 Manix. After quite a bit of polishing, I flame anodized it.

This is a Para3 factory second in Maxamet that I slim lined and dyed the scales. On the blade I used a cold gun blue. VERY tricky, probably not recommended. I ruined a different blade doing this. Sorry for the extra picture.

William DK, that really is a brilliant mod! Now I am thinking a PM2 Magnacut blade in a Para 3 LW would be a fun project. I bet yours is the only one in existence at the moment! What is the 'tail bolt' ?

Does anyone know if the lock geometry is the same between Millie 2 and Para 2 as well? I can picture a Para 2 with some extra edge.

Or if there was an even larger member of the family (Warfare?) and I could cobble together a similar setup for the Millie 2 as there is easily at lest 10mm space available in that handle

The "tail bolt" is the bolt close to the end of the handle.
It is also known as a "Barrel Spacer".

Posted a few times but this is my most used modded Spyderco. Swapped blades, more tab access, no “Nub”, better ergonomics for me and more hand positions. It’s soooooooo good.
