Interesting that while some Saturday morning cartoons were of course childish, others could appeal to more mature or intelligent kids.

Isis (1975 -76 TV series intro)
I had a minor crush on Joanna Cameron, kind of in the way that 12 or 13 year old schoolboys sometimes have a crush on a pretty teacher. I liked her better in her normal appearance than made up as Isis.

Jim,
Vaguely remember that.

TBH, I thought Lynda Carter (back in the 1970s) was a hotter Wonder Woman than Gal Gadot. IIRC, you prefer Gadot, but it's all good. I also thought Carter was better-looking in her civilian outfits as Diana Prince than as Wonder Woman.

Both of them are Beauty Queens so you have no argument from me.

Gigantor (1964- 66, intro)
This was one of the earliest Saturday morning cartoons I remembered watching. It was certainly playing before the 1967 lineup that included Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, etc. First anime I ever saw, though at the time, I didn't know it was Japanese.

Top 10 Jonny Quest Episodes (1960s Series)
My personal favorite has always been The Invisible Monster. It was the most dangerous foe of the entire series. If the villains or monsters from any of the other episodes had faced The Invisible Monster, it would have devoured / absorbed them. That thought alone gave the episode a greater degree of menace.

I like them all personally.
Shadow of the Condor, if I had to pick one I suppose.

What the Heck Happened to Jenette Goldstein?

Re: Nearly-Forgotten TV Shows, Themes, and Ads
She's probably a lot better off as is. Because a LOT of the "big stars," "A-list celebrities," etc., are dysfunctional, or plain weird. She seems to have turned out great, and at least from an outside perspective, she seems to be living a fulfilling life.

The Saddest Day in Nostalgic History!
I remember seeing this back in 1972, not as the 1967 TV series Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot, but as a movie that played on TV, titled Voyage into Space. Which I later learned was a compilation of footage from the TV series.
Personally, I never really felt sad when Giant Robot was destroyed at the end. I don't know why, but the end of Giant Robot just didn't affect me emotionally. Apparently, from the comments, some kids cried, which I find kinda surprising. Then again, I was around 8 or 9 when I saw it. I would imagine that most of the kids who cried over it were a bit younger than that.

This was feeling like deja vu,
then I remembered there was a similar thread in 2019,
1950s/60s TV Shows That Were Truly Ahead Of Their Time.
At the risk of repeating myself or others
off the top of my head to the best of my recollection:
Saturday mornings: The Rifleman, Boston Blackie,
Fury, My Friend Flicka, Sky King, Rin Tin Tin,
Sheena Queen of the Jungle.
After school: Queen for a Day
Prime Time: Paladin, Route 66

Thank you for sharing! Those were before my time, though I believe I saw The Rifleman a few times as a kid.

Yes.
That was back when you had a black and white TV
and had to turn the rabbit ears antenna
for better reception when you changed
to one of the 3 channels available.
I'm 78.
