I'm an international customer. I'd like to share a very disappointing issue I've had.

I was trying to purchase the Para Military 2 Red/Black G-10 MagnaCut, but when I paid with my credit card using PayPal's Guest Checkout, the system charged me twice.

Unfortunately, shortly after, both of the charged amounts were canceled without any order confirmation email.

Have you called them? Might be worth explaining what happened.

My dealing with PayPal is they are far less than perfect. I know guys have never had problems with them, I have had several and haven't used them in years. I am not a fan of there business.

I'm definitely not trying to say others shouldn't have problems and I'm not defending them, but I've been scammed 3 times and PayPal had my back and got my money back. I'm also crediting PayPal for speeding up my transactions and that's gotta be part of why I've never missed a drop that I tried to get and as long as I have good Internet connection I'm checked out by 1 minute after the drop time every time.

I know exactly what your saying here ED, heck the very reason years ago I signed up and got an account and everything was great. Made things awesome to buy online, I loved it.

Then I and 112 others bought these machined aluminum parts from a dealer in Kansas or maybe it was Ohio don't remember now.

Each one of us got scammed out of 167 dollars and change as we never got anything from this place. Never could get our money back or anything. PayPal sent us all sorts of coupons for so much off our next purchase after they exhausted all their efforts to get the returns or products for each of us.

It was a big hot mess lol. Really sad thing I really wanted the machined parts, heck I would have paid more money for them if that was the problem too. This guy just vanished, after making these window crank knobs and shifter knobs.

It wasn't like we were ordering a silencer for my pistol online without the proper stamp lol, they were window cranks and shifter knobs for a Jeep I had back then.

I was lead to believe that loosing your money was never going to happen while using PayPal back then when I signed up too. It does work great right up to the point when the stuff hits the fan lol, I guess.

So I quit using them and that was over 20 years ago now. Yes, it would be more convenient if I could use them, but I just don't trust them, bottom line... they got my last money their getting.

My purchase experience was almost unbelievably smooth. I actually received my confirmation email on the purchase while it was still 10:00am my time(9:00am MDT). I was also surprised these lasted for 12 minutes, especially after the last mule drop running out far faster. I don’t know if that many flippers jumped in on this one. I’ve been checking eBay to see how many would turn up there and what the flippers would ask for them. Today is the first time I’ve seen even one. The flipper is asking a ridiculous $950 for it though.

I knew they were going to hit ebay, but I figured about 500 bucks. Sure glad my order did go through and I got mine today.

Otherwise I would have been forced to go shop there for one.

I really hope no one pays those prices. The sellers will lower it down. Hopefully they settle around $500 like expected. Kinda crazy. This has REC Para 3 vibes. They were advertised at $1000 for a while on eBay. Some have gone for around $600 recently. The rare and small run knives go for more.

I just checked and there's a 3rd one listed now for $945.99. I also see MagnaMax Mules listed for $200-$300

Is this normal for rare Spyderco editions?
