This Manix2 has FatCarbon-dark matter gold scales that are really something when in the paw. Just don't use the knife much since a little short for my likes.

Re: The Show youre manixes thread.
Manix 2 and the Manix 2XL, the Manix 2 has some new AWT - Burnt bronze scales and MagnaCut steel. The Manix 2XL has jade scales and M4 steel that is DLC.
I ordered a set of AWT scales for one of my Manix2XL's just not sure which one will get them yet. I really like these Burnt bronze scales on the little Manix 2.
I like these scales so much, I have actually had this little Manix 2 in my right front pocket all day after putting it together. I don't ever carry this small a knife in my right front pocket either lol..
I want a Manix 2XL in MagnaMax to put this new set of AWT scales on I have coming in burnt bronze of coarse. Bring on the MagnaMax, coarse Spyderco could put that steel in some killer tan or Sage green G10 and that would work too. Then these burnt bronze scales would end up on one of my other Manix 2XL 's

Thanks... I'm thinking about anodizing the scales a bronze color. Oh, and btw,, its a tank! I haven't weighed it, but its really heavy. Has to be about a half pound. Certainly not a light weight!

Pacu,
If you like the bronze color, Cerakote has this Burnt Bronze color that is to die for, least I love it. Now it's not as durable as anodized though, but I have not had mine get messed up yet and I have three knives in it now that two of which I edc...

I got my mini in yesterday and it's perfect, box and all, but it's pretty short for me to edc. But I do get the attraction to these as well as the C95.
I hope to find a C95 eventually maybe a PE I like those better but the combo blade is OK too.

Well, you got some more eyes out there looking for an original C95 , one will show up sometime. I do like the both models but for extended time cutting the C95 is top dog . The C101 lwt. model has really grown on me too , very nice option where I need to cut and weight doesn’t bog me down with other gear walking or very limited use . I still want to see a SE model come back out in both models . Dan

I agree Dan, the SE would be a killer option on these knives.
