Bought this Seiko recently. The kinetic is really kind of obsolete technology by now but i like it!

I’m not too much into the dressier watches, but I liked this one. Nice!

Re: What watch you're wearing?
Even though I’m not as much into watches lately, I went ahead and bought a new one earlier this year. First new watch in a long time, and ironically my most expensive watch. I just don’t see the point of having a bloated collection / selection of watches anymore, so I decided to spurge on a watch I really like and sell all the watches I haven’t used lately. It remains to see where it ends up financially, but should break even and just maybe leave some money to spare.
Don’t know if it’s just the honeymoon phase playing tricks on me or whatever, but I’ve enjoyed my new watch a lot and used it everyday for at least the last month. Work, hikes, a wedding, other social events… it never feels out of place.

(Tudor Pelagos 39) Picture from my hike last week, more thoroughly covered in the “What Spyderco is in your pocket” thread, here: viewtopic.php?t=60127&start=55000#p1840510

Fenix 7X Pro Solar. I started with a 3 about ten years ago and never left the brand. Bit like Spyderco. When you find the brand that fits, why leave.

Same here, still wearing the 6 daily but looking to upgrade. The 8 series starting price is on the high side, so I might get a second hand 7 series.SpydieCollector wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 11:15 amFenix 7X Pro Solar. Re: What watch you're wearing?
I got the 7 just last month as the store had reduced it by about £300 as an end of line model. I love the Fenix range but I'd never want to pay full price.Paul Ardbeg wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 12:47 pmSame here, still wearing the 6 daily but looking to upgrade. Can't go wrong with any of the Fenix range imo. Great robust tech.
Still got my 6. Too good to sell on.
Forgot to add if you do upgrade to a 7 the battery in it is like a nuclear furnace. Last time I gave it a charge I believe it said something like 90+ days left to next charge. That and the solar top ups make it last months and months.
