During some spring cleaning, and putting away some stuff, I came across a box full of nostalgia. Mostly pictures and ticket stubs and other mementos from my younger days.

But among all that was a pleasant surprise. The stuff I literally carried every day, having taken to heart my Dad’s advice to always have a pen and a knife handy.

I’d estimate the last time any of this stuff saw the inside of my pocket was 1999 or so.

For fun, I’ve also posted a “NOW” pic to go with my “THEN” pic. And yes, I even went all out and tried to make the pic look like old film. Enjoy!
