Top six in the summer…Salt knives and backlocks are my favorite

I do switch things up a little if I’m not outside in a 100°sauna but still mostly backlocks

Great groups! I also use different ones as the seasons change.

Caly Jr ZDP189
Manix 2 LW (many choices here)
Sage LW M4
D'fly K390
...wow, I've pared it down to four! On backpacking days, substitute all for:
Lightened Straight Spine Mule, a truly excellent backpack knife. Love that very sharp needle tip.

Re: What are your top 5 Spydercos right now?
I'm not able to pick a top five at the moment. It's too much in flux. I've started carrying my Caly 3.5 and even the Manix 2 on occasion; never thought either would happen when I first got them. Caly too slippery. Manix hard to close one handed. With time, both feel better, though I know it is only me that has changed. Maybe it's just the wire clips.
I need to try some deep carry clips for others.
I think my Chap is still favorite, though the wharn Lil' Native is a second. Getting my hands on the SE LW may tip the balance. We'll see. After that, I'm not really sure. Spyderco makes too many good knives. The more I get to use them, the more I like more of them. So, it's hard to pick.

Re: What are your top 5 Spydercos right now?
Based on my carry patterns in 2025
1. Bodacious - best overall utility edc
2. Chief Magnacut - best for hiking, gardening, fishing, cutting up food. Easy to care for, strong and lightweight.
3. Native salt or Sage - take them anywhere , cuts like a dream
4. PM2 Salt (Yellow Jacket scales
) - best stock scales from Spyderco. The Bodacious and Shaman need a bumblebee edition.
5. Shaman- still a great design. The contoured scales are pleasant. It now serves as a stunt double for my Bodacious . My “beater Bodacious”

Re: What are your top 5 Spydercos right now?
My current top Spydercos based on what I have been carrying lately.
1. Dragonfly VG10. It was my first, and still a favorite.
2. Chaparral Lightweight. Great small slicer. I stopped carrying it due to issues with the wire clip bending, but replaced it with a solid clip and it has made it back into regular carry.
3. Native 5 CPM-M4. Just a great overall utility knife for me. It is about as large a knife as i like to pocket carry.
4. Para 2 Left handed. A larger knife than my typical pocket carry, but quite useful as a belt knife.
5. Currently open, although I recently picked up a Lil' Native lightweight, and a, really liking the feel. It needs some pocket time before I make a decision.
