Thank you! Sorry the middle shot is poor. It is a bunch of bats in an old house in the Smokies. I was shooting handheld in low light and had to really jack up the ISO to get a high shutter speed. I didn’t want to use a flash for fear of disturbing the bats!

Cool! Always fun to see deer! The woods are so thick here that I usually only get a quick glimpse of any wildlife before it disappears into the underbrush!

I was checking the garden recently and saw a half eaten cucumber hanging near the ground so I looked around and saw this box turtle upside down… I don’t have a clue how long he’d been there but he was still alive so I cut up the cuke and set him down inches away then walked away…came back about 15/20 minutes later and he was eating it 😉
