Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
this thread is the first I have seen in the wild. I can not wait for mine to arrive. by far, the most anticipated knife of the year for me.
Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Another thank you to Mrj for suggesting Indiana Knives. I too placed my pre-order as I really want a 15v Manix blade! Don't mind the wait, just wanted to make sure I got one.Mrj wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 11:18 amManix 2 LW

One on the way from Bear Claw. Trouble free checkout.
Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
It appears that the stampede is over, and knifes are available even to those who don't have the luxury of watching for drops throughout the day. Thanks, Spyderco People, for making enough for everyone who wants one.

For the 15V Lightweight, I have only seen date codes of DY and FY. Has anyone here seen any other dates yet?

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Im honestly surprised people were panicking, thinking this knife would be hard to get. Everyone knows the LW model doesn't have as strong of a following, especially considering it's more than a G10 sprint/exclusive from just a year or two ago. That FOMO is still there, even with inflation when the knife market has slowed a bit. All these knives easily obtained these days!

Wow, thank you weeping minora
That's likely a first batch knife then. Nice!

When you get a chance weeping minora - Peek in through the ball-cage lock opening, and let us know what you see there for a blade batch date and code please. Your 'A' month assembled knife, likely had its blade heat treated last year.
So as of now then, we have seen a January, April, and June 2025 production month date codes.
Eric did say publicly, 5 months ago, that Spyderco was in the process of producing 5000 pieces of each USA made 15V model.
If the heat treat batches are 500 blades each, that would be 10 'baskets' of blades for each model run. So I can see how we may get/find even more date codes as time goes by. That's a lot of knives!

I have one inbound now, that is from the latest shipment from Spyderco to Dealers. It'll be interesting to see what date code I get.

First time I've seen this, but the blade is from the same month of manufacture, stamped '1-25 A'.
The multiplicity of manufacture dates may be why we see many of these 15V Sprints in stock after many months now. Retailers could be buying additional stock as manufacture continues, and additional units become available, making it seem like the models are slow to sell out; or perhaps Spyderco waited to produce the entire 5000 units before shipping selected models. I could see ~1000 produced per month between January and May of this year ('25) to complete the 5000 unit goal. Interesting to see once more of these get out into the wild.
