"Production Sample Meerkat" ... with Deep burgundy FRN Scales with Micro Melt PD#1 Black Blade?

A coated Meerkat sounds good to me.

For me, the Swayback’s only weakness is that it’s slightly harder to open with one hand than most Spyderco knives. Not a big deal, in my opinion. I’m never in a big hurry to open my Swayback.xceptnl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 9:07 pmCurious why the Swayback is still hanging around? Prices have continued to fall, and I really want to try one, but an hesitant for some reason. I like the no ramp design for more sleek carry. This would be a dressier knife for me and would possibly see some extended edc stretches. So anyone who has one, please share Pros & Cons
I have a Swayback and think it too elegant to be used much.xceptnl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 9:07 pmCurious why the Swayback is still hanging around? This is the reason I don't have one - I'm left-handed and it doesn't look like I can easily flick it open from the back.Coastal wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 9:59 pmFor me, the Swayback’s only weakness is that it’s slightly harder to open with one hand than most Spyderco knives. It's one of my favorite Spydercos. As of the last several months, I have only carried a few Spydercos. Swayback is one of them.xceptnl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 31, 2025 9:07 pmCurious why the Swayback is still hanging around? It would be nice to have a MAP holiday right about now, to order some knives from the US before possible reciprocal tariffs go into effect. Hopefully the tariffs are shelved altogether, but in case their not, there’s a couple of knives I’d want to get my hands on before they skyrocket out of my price bracket.
Without further details, l fail to see how raising tariffs on products coming into to the USA directly raise the cost of USA products in your country. So, a MAP holiday is not a solution to your proposed issue. It would be nice to have a MAP holiday right about now, to order some knives from the US before possible reciprocal tariffs go into effect.
