Decided to grab another Leaf Jumper and an Endela Wharnie before I can't anymore. Threw in another Endela PD#1 sprint to have as a backup since National Knives had them all in stock somehow. Good thing I did as I think I grabbed the last Endela Wharnie they had. Shows oos now.

I really appreciate the offer. But it will be a couple of weeks til I can fit another knife into the budget. I'd rather you go ahead and grab it before its gone. Thank you though

Yes, I sent that one back for a full refund and it appears that seller is no longer listing items for sale on Ebay. This one I sourced from Ozark Cutlery, also on Ebay, and it is good to go.

Nice, glad to hear it worked out for you. I remember it because the Tropen is such a different and unique knife. What do you think of it? Don't hear much about it around here!

It is an interesting design with a scimitar like blade, compression lock, and three distinct opening mechanisms. I do not carry folders for defensive purposes, so it is a well-crafted novelty in my collection. The only pet peeves with it are that the G10 scales are too smooth/slick, it lacks a finger choil which would open up access to the compression lock, and it runs on bearing rather than washers. These aspects in the design are not a deal breaker, one could easily stipple the scales, grind a choil, and swap bearings with Skiff's fat washers if so inclined. Spyderco does a fantastic job with CPM S30V, and it shows. It is definitely a keeper.

how does having a choil affect access to the lock for you? I never use the choil on my military 2 so im a bit confused.

In the closed position, the edge of the blade blocks the compression lock tab.

ah, I see. well, you'll learn quick to move your finger out of the way if you swing your comp lock knives shut ;)

Fortunately, the flipper tab makes contacts with the finger compressing the lock to stop blade movement before the moment of truth. Sometimes I like to use the compression lock and gravity to open my Spydies.

Spyderco Pits 2. Just got it like few hours ago. Fit and finish is superb. Very thin bte. It is a slicer. The implementation of the clip was a nice surprise.

Got one of these coming too and am looking forward to carrying alongside my UKPK with titanium scales. Thanks for the pic of the clip attachment; it’s clearer than any others I’ve come across so far.

I bought my first Mule off ebay just an hour ago. Looking quite forward to checking the Mule out, as I have been wanting to get a couple of these for quite some time now.

This Mule is bnib made from Elmax, something else Jeb has very much been very interested in checking out. I paid a small fortune for it, but I didn't care with how interested I am in checking out the Elmax...

Least this one, I bought it here in the USA and there will be no days held up in Customs lol... Seems like everything I find that I like and decided to buy is out of the USA and that really makes for some long delivery times lol

Mail call with an interesting surprise. Image

It was NIB from an eBay seller. Doesn't appear to be deformed at the spine so I can only assume it's a grinding defect. Doesn't bother me as I will sharpen it out soon. For now I have a micro hawkbill tip Chap.
Very pleased to have this design in hand and regretful I never tried it sooner.

Got this Yojumbo Jade G10 and M4 steel in the post yesterday. Never held any of these designed knives before. This thing has this small diamond shaped feel in the scales, and I must say I am a huge fan of how it feels.

This is a big knife to start, so naturally I am going to love it. But this knife is a way different design and just the design of the grip feels great, then add on the rough diamond texture of the scales; it's freaking awesome in the paw.

M4 steel has DLC and it came to me with one scuff mark but nothing concerning for me, but the knife was really dull. I bought this knife off ebay. Had never been sharpened, just figure the ebay seller used this to the point he was going to have to sharpen it and just sold it at this point.

I got up at 3am this morning and honed this at 15 dps and then polished the M4 steel and jimo M4 is amazing... tacked up the regular 6 pix I do on each knife I get, on my picture thread, here is a quick pic of this amazing knife...
