Finally checked out DACK outdoors and decided on my daughter's 2nd spydie; the rafir noble chaparral and my gf's 1st; the disco'd purple frn vg-10 PE delica.

Considering I ordered them a week ago it's safe to say they are not actually in the mail. No sweat, great prices. We can wait.

Noteworthy: I successfully avoided buying anything for myself after having the cart loaded, at one point, with 7 or 8 knives. I was impressed

It’s been so long since then that SMKW doesn’t even do preorders anymore.

I wonder if the PM2 Salt preorder debacle was the cause. It was getting frustrating seeing the Bumblebee out in the wild for a number of months now and no sign of mine until a couple days ago when I got the shipping notification. Glad it'll finally be here soon.

I think it was the crucarta debacle. Someone in their warehouse cancelled a bunch of orders last year when the prices went up. They got flack and had to honor the old prices. I noticed afterwards they quit preorders.

Just broke down an ordered the sprint run M2 with the 15V steel and peel ply textured G10 scales. Got it from Nationalknives.com

Been wanting one of these blades for a long time, have no idea why I have waited so long to get it lol...

Well, I bought a really sick Spyderco off ebay just now, this thing is the bomb too of all Wharncliffe blades, the Yojumbo in jade G10 scales and DLC M4 steel... it's just the slickest looking big Wharncliffe.

Oh yes, I am excited about getting it too. And no I am not letting someone talk me out of it or give to anyone this time lol. This one is mine, all mine... The big bad Wharncliffe I have been wanting a Yojumbo for a while and just have not bought one.

I also had a PM2 Salt preorder from Nov 2023 cancelled by SMKW. Had to call to request it be reinstated at the original price. To their credit they did so, but it did leave me wondering if I could trust preorders...

My Stretch 2 XL SE in H2 arrived today from Dack, and my first impressions are overwhelmingly positive. I've been looking for a replacement for my Pacific 2 for quite some time and this might be the one.

Two from Nat Knives on the way, ordered a couple days apart. The first is the little S35 Ambitious SE which I think has been discontinued. I've had the 8CR13 SE for some time and it's a little laser 5th pocket knife. The Ambitious SE has to have the shallowest SE pattern in Spydie's catalog, no snagging with this one. I will remove the clip and add a pinky lanyard.

Also ordered the blacked-out Military 2. I've been eyeballin' that G10 scale texture for a while and just had to check it out. I plan on leaving this one stock as everything about it looks 'just right'.

Thanks man, I hope I like it. I have never had any of these in my paw. The only thing I have is the internet to view them and what I have read about them here on this forum.

They look like really something special in the paw with a big 4" size blade on this Yojumbo... The grip design looks really well thought out and very different style of grip. So looking quite forward to this purchase.
