Janisong incoming?

Just received the Janisong. Overall, an interesting “fidget” knife. One thing I noticed is the lock release switch was really stiff right out of the box especially when trying to lock the blade in the open position. It’s as if the tolerances are slightly off for the lock pin in the open position. I oiled the pin and the slider and seems better

One other thing. When you get the Janisong, take a can of compressed air and thoroughly blow out all pivot points. The action is so much better after doing so.

When carrying Janisong, it is not necessary to use the lock release switch. If the knife opens slightly in your pocket, nothing terrible will happen. But it can open itself when you take it out of your pocket, it is fast and convenient even with gloves.
