Also I found it interesting they actually taped the box shut with a clear round sticker so it's clear if the knife/box has been opened.

I've never purchased from Dack, but have seen the clear sticker on boxes more recently...

Well, I just ordered my bodacious from them. I am not too crazy about coated blades, but I could not pass it for 160 shipped.

I've not been real crazy about coated blades either.

I just got mine. I suspect it was originally bought from Dack because of the price I paid, $165. It came LNIB.

A few early observations: I like the size and feel in hand. The action and lockup are stiff. I expect that with coated blades and to some degree with new knives.

The smooth G10 is ok but not my favorite.

I'll see how it breaks in and possibly get another future version of a satin.

I think for the price you will be happy with your purchase.

There's no doubt it's a good knife.

Same, I got the raffir noble chaparral for $120 and a plain Jane delica for $60. It's been over a decade since I've seen a delica around $50.

$180 for an order (free shipping when I ordered) for two knives that, together, normally run ya $280.

Not too bad if you can handle the wait (which, realistically, all of us can)
